Lay Education at the Centre for Theology&Ministry (CTM) offers a fantastic resource for the congregations and Presbyteries who love to read and digest books.

What are they?

These are introductory theological studies aimed specifically at lay people. There are four units of study that are offered on a two year rotating program. Each unit also includes a focus on the practical skills needed for preaching and leading worship.

Retreat

Taking a retreat is a formative and renewing experience. There are many opportunities for reatreat experiences in the life of the church. You could organise a personal retreat or join a group. You might like to ask a retreat leader to facilitate a program in your community or join one of the many retreats provided ecumenically.
